CRONIMET Holding GmbH welcomed on Monday, September 21, high-ranking representatives from leading international companies in the stainless steel industry to its headquarters in Karlsruhe. The visit took place in the run-up to the prestigious SMR International Stainless & Special Steel Conference, which is being held near Frankfurt from September 22 to 24, 2026.
Traditionally, the conference program includes a visit to a benchmark company in the stainless steel industry. At the invitation of the organizers, participants at CRONIMET gained insights into the innovative processes and successful strategy of this globally active specialist in the recycling and processing of raw materials.
The visit included a detailed tour of the facilities as well as presentations by majority shareholder and CEO Jürgen Pilarsky, and COO Marijo Zeljko. The focus was on the CRONIMET Group as well as current developments and challenges in the stainless steel industry. In subsequent discussion sessions and one-on-one conversations, the guests exchanged views with CRONIMET representatives on many key industry topics.
