This year’s fair expanded its scale to feature 40 premier Korean food exporters, attracting 55 qualified buyers from 19 European nations. The venue buzzed with strategic commercial energy, facilitating 583 one-on-one trade consultations that generated an estimated USD 114 million in potential business opportunities. Demonstrating the immediate market viability of the featured brands, the event also secured 2 on-site contracts and 15 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) totaling USD 3 million.

The exhibition successfully captured the attention of European buyers looking to diversify their regional portfolios with trend-driven products. While main staples like snacks, frozen foods, beverages and tea drove high sourcing interest, a specialized ‚Next K-Food‘ showcase garnered significant buyer attention. This dedicated zone highlighted future-forward export categories tailored to European market demands, including Vegan & Fermented K-Food, Frozen K-Food, and Artisanal Korean Spirits. Combined with steady inquiries into seafood, Kimchi, ginseng, and poultry, the fair effectively demonstrated the comprehensive versatility and premium innovation of the K-Food industry.

The side programs included Consumer K-Food Testing sessions and specialized seminars for exporters. During the testing sessions, a dedicated consumer panel sampled various products—including the ‚Next K-Food‘ lineup—and completed surveys to share their honest feedback and preferences. In addition, the seminar featured distinct sessions on the European Union’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) and Food Intellectual Property (IP) rights, providing Korean exporters with essential legal and compliance frameworks for the regional market.

Furthermore, a meeting with European K-Food distributors offered a platform for open dialogue. Industry buyers shared their perspectives, challenges, and opportunities related to K-Food distribution, contributing to stronger mutual understanding and exploring future paths for collaboration.
