The offering ranges from passive distribution boxes for straightforward signal routing to active I/O boxes with integrated electronics that enable direct communication with controllers via fieldbus or Industrial Ethernet. Efficient field‑level wiring
IP67‑rated distribution systems enable cost‑effective, well‑organized, and efficient wiring of sensors and actuators directly in the field. They are used wherever distributed signals must be connected quickly and reliably to higher‑level controllers. Their rugged IP67 design makes them ideal for harsh industrial environments and supports structured, economical, and maintenance‑friendly field wiring.
Individual signals can be connected either through fixed cables or standardized connector interfaces. This significantly simplifies installation, reduces potential error sources, and increases flexibility for system expansion, modification, or maintenance.
Junction systems
The CONEC product portfolio includes Y‑splitters from M12x1 to M12x1 as well as M12x1 to M8x, each available in 4‑, 5‑, or 8‑pin A‑coded versions. Additional options include 5‑pin A‑coded M12x1‑to‑M12x1 Duo‑splitters. These products are offered in various cable lengths, including 0.3 m, 0.6 m, 1.5 m, and 3 m.
The range is further complemented by T‑splitters with attached cables and M12x1 connectors in 4‑, 5‑, or 8‑pin A‑coded configurations. These versions are also available in different cable lengths—0.3 m and 0.6 m—to meet specific installation requirements.
Overmolded connector variants
The overmolded connector lineup is available in M8x1 and M12x1 sizes and covers a wide range of applications in industrial automation. These connectors help reduce installation time and cost while providing a reliable field‑level connection.
In the M8 segment, the portfolio also includes snap‑in and screw‑snap variants. For M12, in addition to the proven screw‑locking design, a bayonet quick‑locking option is available, offering enhanced ease of use and faster installation in demanding environments.
The product range includes connectors for signal and data transmission, power connectors, and combined solutions for EtherCAT communication with integrated 24‑V power supply (EtherCAT P). All solutions provide consistent protection from the connector through to the cable and ensure a high level of tamper resistance.
In addition to standard codings, BUS variants in B, D, P, and X coding as well as power versions in K, L, S, and T coding are available. With this, CONEC offers a comprehensive accessory portfolio that supports high‑performance, scalable, and future‑proof connectivity for decentralized automation.
