The tube lights are used for general mechanical engineering applications, in printing machines, in the petrochemical and processing industries, in the oil and gas industry, in the food industry, in the pharmaceutical industry, in the aircraft industry and in tunnels. The tube lights are also suitable for temporary installations where the maintenance and reconstruction work take longer. Special accessories are used to fix the lamps to pipes with clamps (railings in the chemical and process engineering and on drilling platforms). Alternatively, magnets can be used to fit them directly to the machine housing or tanks walls. The tube lights can also be installed in the illuminated ramming protection of petrol pumps at petrol stations.

During the construction of aircraft and in shipyards the tube lights are used to ensure operational safety. Here various mechanics and work­men work in extremely confined spaces in the freight compartment and in the future cabin cleaning structural elements with solvents or applying paint finishes and preserving agents.
