TÜV Rheinland to showcase expanded rail portfolio at InnoTrans 2026

TÜV Rheinland will present its most extensive rail agenda to date at InnoTrans 2026 in Berlin. The company’s focus will be on safety services and TIC+ (testing, inspection and certification) offerings across the lifecycle of rail and urban transport systems. Two new consultancy offerings for operators will also be highlighted: the Lean Management Quick Check and the Condition-Based Maintenance Readiness Check.

“All that matters, we keep it safe”

Under the campaign message “All that matters, we keep it safe”, TÜV Rheinland will showcase its broader portfolio of safety and TIC+ services at CityCube Berlin, Hall A, Booth 405, including condition-based maintenance, digitalization and the increasing role of independent assessment within modern rail systems. TÜV Rheinland will also present dedicated solutions for freight and tram operators.

Service offerings for more efficiency and data-driven maintenance

A particular focus of the trade fair appearance will be on two new service offerings designed to help operators take practical first steps towards improved efficiency and more data-driven maintenance strategies. The Lean Management Quick Check is aimed at operators seeking to assess the performance and effectiveness of their maintenance and operational processes. The Condition-Based Maintenance Readiness Check helps operators understand what data is already available to them and how it can support future maintenance and operational decision-making.

Safety and independent technical assurance as enablers

With these new service offerings, TÜV Rheinland addresses key challenges facing the industry. The rail sector is under growing pressure to accelerate digitalization and make more efficient use of resources in order to remain competitive and high performing. At the same time, safety remains the essential prerequisite for reliable operations, modernization and the introduction of new technologies. TÜV Rheinland therefore positions safety and independent technical assurance as enablers of resilient operations and sustainable progress across the rail lifecycle.

Program includes careers and job fair and the Ukrainian Rail Task Force

In addition to the exhibition itself, an extended program is planned during the fair. Activities will include a careers and job fair for engineers considering a move into rail, an interview with the Ukrainian Rail Task Force, and certificate ceremonies recognizing completed projects and partnerships. Regional experts from across the global rail network of TÜV Rheinland will be present throughout the event, reflecting the company’s international footprint in rail and urban transport engineering.
