Trotec Introduces SpeedMarker 330: The First Galvo Laser System with Ruby® Laser Software

With the new SpeedMarker 330, Trotec Laser introduces a compact, production-oriented laser marking solution for small to medium-sized production runs. The SpeedMarker 330 is the first galvo laser system to run on Ruby® laser software, bringing the intuitive, workflow-based operating logic of the Ruby® platform to industrial laser marking.

The new SpeedMarker 330 is designed for companies that require reliable marking, reproducible marking quality, and efficient workflows in a compact workstation system. The focus is not only on the individual marking operation but on the entire process—from job preparation through software-assisted execution to the finished mark.

„With the SpeedMarker 330, we are bringing the Ruby® platform to industrial galvo laser marking for the first time. Users benefit from a seamless workflow—from job preparation to the finished mark. This makes processes simpler, more reproducible, and more efficient“, says Martin Sammer, Product Manager for Galvo Laser Systems.

From Marking Laser to Production Workflow

The SpeedMarker 330 was designed as a universal benchtop marking solution for companies across a wide range of industries—particularly for industrial manufacturers, job shops, and users in the fields of engraving and personalization. It is ideally suited for small to medium batch sizes and for any application where efficiency, workflow automation, reliable marking, and ease of use are critical.

Thanks to the integration of Ruby®, marking processes are managed with greater software support. Users benefit from structured workflows, intuitive operation, and improved standardization of recurring tasks. This helps companies increase repeatability, reduce operational effort, and streamline processes from preparation through production.

Reproducible Quality in a Compact Design

The SpeedMarker 330 combines a compact design with industrial-grade marking performance. The laser system complies with Laser Class 2, enabling safe operation without additional protective measures. Key features include a 100-watt MOPA fiber laser, a marking field of 150 × 150 mm, autofocus, an automatic door, a 10.1-inch HMI touchscreen, and the Ruby® laser software as the central platform for workflow and automation.

The solution is designed to deliver reliable and reproducible marking results—from the first component to the last. As a result, the SpeedMarker 330 is particularly well-suited for production environments where traceability, process reliability, and consistent quality play a key role.

Production-ready, easy to use, and scalable

As a compact workstation solution, the SpeedMarker 330 can be integrated into production-ready environments. The combination of Ruby® software, autofocus, an automated door, and structured process guidance simplifies operation and supports fast, repeatable workflows in everyday operations.

The SpeedMarker 330 thus bridges the gap between professional marking quality and productive workflows, while also serving as the entry point to a new generation of SpeedMarkers featuring Ruby® software.

Benefits for Flatbed Laser Users

With the SpeedMarker 330, the Ruby® ecosystem expands beyond flatbed lasers for the first time. Users who already work with Ruby® benefit from familiar operating concepts and workflows. This allows existing knowledge to be directly applied to industrial galvo laser marking, simplifying the transition and accelerating the implementation of new applications.
