CONEC is taking a major step forward: 100% lead-free – sustainable, safe, and responsible.
At CONEC, sustainability is more than just a quality promise – it is a core part of who we are. As an international manufacturer of connectivity solutions, we take responsibility: for resources, for our environment, and for a future-ready supply chain.
That is why we are converting our entire product portfolio to lead-free materials by December 31, 2026, at the latest. From January 1, 2027, all CONEC products will be manufactured 100% lead-free.
Why this step?
The RoHS Directive limits the use of hazardous substances such as lead to a maximum of 0.1 wt%. Exemption 6(c) (copper alloys containing up to 4% lead) will expire in mid-2027.
For us, this means taking proactive action rather than waiting to react.
Our goal is clear: protect the environment, reduce risks, and provide our customers with safe and compliant products for the long term.
