The new FocusIngSlide enhances the Schüco FocusIng System with the addition of a lift-and-slide door featuring variable opening spans and narrow face widths. With a basic depth of 70 millimetres for the vent frame and 167 millimetres for the outer frame, the lift-and-slide door is well-suited to a wide range of applications in both modernisation projects and newbuilds, as is customary for the FocusIng system. With a maximum vent height of around two-and-a-half metres and a vent width of approximately three metres, vents weighing up to 300 kg allow light to flood the interior spaces. Glazing of between 10 and 48 millimetres can be used. In addition, a barrier-free threshold as standard ensures a seamless transition to the outside when the doors are open. With regard to thermal insulation, the system boasts a U_f value as low as 1.34 W/(m²K), enabling the energy efficiency demands of modern homes to be met with low energy costs. Two continuous gasket planes offer class 6A watertightness and wind resistance to class B2, as well as excellent sound reduction when combined with the appropriate acoustic glazing, so that disruptive noises are kept outside the door.

The linear design of the FocusIng system and a choice of around 300 foils to design the surface finish enable Schüco FocusIngSlide to blend seamlessly into virtually any living environment. Be it an urban retreat, a country cottage or an idyllic suburban home, foils ranging from a sleek aluminium look to remarkably realistic woodgrain patterns ensure harmonious integration into a variety of design concepts. The silent and effortless operation of the large opening units adds an extra touch of comfort and convenience. Optional functions like Schüco SmartClose, Schüco Soft Handle and Schüco SoftLift allow the vents to be drawn gently and almost silently into their end position, or further reduce the operating forces. State-of-the-art locking systems and hardened steel hardware also make it difficult for intruders to gain entry, as the lift-and-slide door can be fitted with burglar resistance up to Resistance Class RC 2. This provides a sense of security and peace of mind.
