This means that the number of countries committed to electric mobility is higher than ever before. A total of 52 countries have submitted precise targets for the first time since 2015. Climate protection is therefore continuing to gain momentum. The EU countries, Canada, Nepal (where more than 70 percent of vehicles are already electric), Cuba, and Barbados, to name just a few examples, are aiming to electrify the passenger car sector from 2035 onwards. Commercial vehicles, buses, trucks, and motorcycles are also included. In addition, there are countries such as China that are pursuing national strategies with their climate measures in the field of electric mobility and are therefore not included in the Agora Verkehrswende study.

Electric mobility alone is not enough to achieve ambitious climate targets, but it is an important part of it. Electric mobility requires raw materials such as lithium, cobalt, nickel, and copper. Increasing energy production from nuclear power, which has been rediscovered and has become socially acceptable again, also contributes to a lower carbon footprint. Uranium is a fuel for which demand is rising due to the growing number of nuclear power plants. Uranium companies should have no problem selling their uranium. A deficit is predicted for uranium in the coming years. Uranium companies and companies that can supply urgently needed battery raw materials will therefore benefit in the coming years.

IsoEnergy https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/isoenergy-ltd/ – is considered a uranium company that could go into production in the near future and has high-grade uranium properties in Saskatchewan. Other uranium projects are located in Australia, Argentina, and the US. The Larocque East project in the Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan is particularly high-grade.

Canada Nickel Company https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/canada-nickel-company-inc/ – has nickel and cobalt in its Crawford project in Ontario. According to the Canadian government, this is a project of strategic importance. The company has published very good mineral resource estimates for eight of nine properties.
