Sustainable Innovation in Series:The CSP Group from Großköllnbach has been awarded the prestigious TOP 100 seal for the fourth consecutive year. This means that CSP will once again be among the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany in 2026. The ceremonial award presentation will take place on June 26, 2026, as part of the German Mittelstand Summit at the Heidelberg Congress Center. Christian Wulff, former Federal President of Germany and mentor of the TOP 100 innovation competition, will personally congratulate the company on this achievement.

The award is based on a scientific selection process led by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. More than 100 evaluation criteria are analyzed, assessing aspects such as innovation strategy, processes, corporate culture, and market success. The assessment is carried out in five categories: Innovation-promoting Top Management, Innovation Climate, Innovation Processes and Organization, External Orientation/Open Innovation, and Innovation Success.

Receiving the award four times in a row underscores the company’s long-term commitment to embedding innovation structurally and sustainably, rather than as a one-off effort.

Since 1991, CSP has been developing customized software solutions for quality assurance and process optimization in the manufacturing industry. Its portfolio includes solutions for quality management (QST), real-time error prevention (IPM), worker assistance systems (PG), audit-proof data archiving (CHRONOS), and AI-based anomaly detection. These systems are used worldwide and help manufacturing companies ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance holistically.

Since 1993, compamedia has awarded the TOP 100 seal for outstanding innovation strength and above-average innovation success to medium-sized companies. The scientific direction has been led by Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke, founder and chairman of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, since 2002. The competition’s mentor is former Federal President Christian Wulff. Project partners include the Fraunhofer Society and the German Association for Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW).
