Electromagnetic compatibility is a key prerequisite for the safety, reliability and market approval of electrical and electronic products. At the same time, regulatory requirements are increasing due to new radio technologies, networked systems and stricter legal requirements. The increasing integration of wireless interfaces and digital functions, in particular, is leading to greater regulatory convergence between the areas of EMC, functional safety and cybersecurity. EMC testing in state-of-the-art laboratories and anechoic chambers

With its state-of-the-art EMC and anechoic chambers, TÜV SÜD offers optimal conditions for precise, reproducible and standard-compliant testing. Services include EMC measurements to ensure compliance with the EMC Directive (2014/30/EU), as well as radio and EMF testing, and emission and immunity testing for a wide variety of applications, including medical devices, and industrial equipment to vehicles and electronic components. TÜV SÜD also provides support in the early stages of development, offering pre-compliance testing and development-related consulting to minimise risks and reduce time-to-market.

TÜV SÜD has numerous accreditations and designations, including DAkkS, ZLG, KBA and the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) as a Notified Body.
