New subsidiary: SINI is now part of the WIKA Group
The WIKA Group acquired AB Svenska Industri Instrument SINI as a wholly owned subsidiary, effective 1 August. This move strengthens the global measurement technology manufacturer’s presence in Sweden. Established in Gothenburg in 1948, SINI was originally founded as a service provider for the shipping industry. Since SINI became a distributor for WIKA measuring instruments in 1970, the partners have steadily expanded their joint business. Today, SINI enables Swedish companies to directly access a broad portfolio of instrumentation for the measurands pressure, temperature, level, flow and force. They also benefit from various services such as calibration, installation and warehousing.
“The acquisition of SINI as a subsidiary marks a strategic milestone for WIKA in Northern Europe,” says Sascha Niederhagen, Executive Vice President EMEA India at WIKA. “Our local presence allows us to offer Swedish customers more tailored advice and enhanced support.”
