The orders are received directly at the K3 counter scale and are freshly prepared, packaged and labeled there in order to guarantee a smooth pick up experience. In addition, a self-service area is provided, which comprises the intelligent Smart Shelf baked goods shelf and the powerful CSPi bread slicer.

Precise bread slicing made easy

The CSP and CSPi bread slicers from Bizerba ensure an efficient bread slicing experience. Whether behind the counter or in the self-service area, as a stand-alone or integrated version – the intuitive touch screen operation enables it to cut bread in various forms and textures into even slices quickly and safely. The covered blade, which is placed in the cleaning position electronically, ensures a high safety standard. The compact and quiet models integrate seamlessly into the store concept and offer simple cleaning with new hygiene features.

Sustainable business thanks to smart technology

Bizerba promotes sustainable business practices through technology such as Smart Shelf, which automatically controls the production and refilling of baked goods in order to reduce food waste. The GSP H slicer with intelligent motor controller helps to reduce electricity costs. Additionally, the receipt is digitized with the RetailApp DigitalReceipt, in order to reduce waste paper.

Transparency and smooth operation

The Bizerba management software RetailControl connects the solutions seamlessly with back office. The SmarterSlicing functions of the CSP bread slicer report automatically on the need for maintenance, cleaning times and blade sharpening in order to optimize performance and availability.
