NICOLAI Summer Festival from 1 to 3 September

From September 1 to 3, the German mountain bike manufacturer Nicolai invites you to their big Summer Festival in Mehle, Lower Saxony, Germany, an exclusive event that will take place for the first time this year. The Summer Festival replaces the previous in-house exhibition. Besides the well-known activities such as factory tours, test rides and joint rides, it offers an exciting, extensive supporting program, where anyone who is even slightly interested in bikes, trails and technology will get their money‘s worth. The occasion for the event is the completion and inauguration of an in-house test track directly at the factory. For the first time, Nicolai will also be offering a glimpse into its Heritage Collection with rare and iconic items from 27 years of company history.

The event begins on Friday with a dealer day, with technology workshops and presentations for Nicolai dealers and those who are interested in becoming one. In particular, Nicolai would like to address dealers who have little or no experience with the brand and invite them to get to know the company. Saturday and Sunday will then be the actual Summer Festival, to which all interested people are warmly invited. Entry is free and no prior registration is required. However, if you would like to try out a particular bike model, you should definitely reserve it in advance via the link under the program topic „Testival“.

Dealers Day
The event starts on Friday, 1.9. with an exclusive dealer day. It does not matter whether you are already registered as a dealer or just want to have a look. The program on Friday includes the presentation of the 2023 Nicolai model range, presentations and technical workshops on Nicolai and Gates Carbon Drive products, a guided tour through the production with Karl Nicolai and plenty of time for face-to-face conversations and questions.

Test Track Opening
Right next to the Nicolai factory, Joscha Forstreuter and his company Tracks and Trails have moved hundreds of cubic meters of earth in recent weeks and created a premium test track on 10,000 m2. 400 meters of MTB trail with branches into technical sections, North Shore elements, natural trail, table line, wall rides and rock gardens. A pump track is also part of the facility, as well as a 270 meter long e-motocross track in the infield. A few more cosmetic touches and we‘ll celebrate the big day together with you.
