Dr. Birgit Schumacher elected to Executive Committee of VUP
Last Friday, the members of the VUP (German Association of Independent Testing Laboratories) elected Dr. Birgit Schumacher, Managing Director of GBA Pharma GmbH, as a new member of its Executive Committee. In this function, she will actively shape the future activities of the VUP and contribute her many years of experience in laboratory operations and the pharmaceutical business to the association’s work. "I am very much looking forward to my new task and to working with my colleagues on the Executive Committee, the Board of Directors and the administrative office. Goals such as promoting dialog with other organizations and interest groups will continue to be a focus in the future, as well as the development of (quality) standards," said Dr. Birgit Schumacher directly after her election.
