A further benefit – the eco-friendly manufacture and composition of RAKU^® TOOL foundry boards. The majority of the boards contains between 10 and 30 percent recycled polyol. The recycling polyol is obtained from the chemical recycling of polyurethane and PET residues as well as in-house RAKU^® TOOL production waste.

The trade fair highlight – multi-part core box made from RAKU^® TOOL WB-1258

Thanks to the extremely high abrasion resistance of the RAKU® TOOL WB-1258 polyurethane board, far more than 100,000 moldings can be achieved, which is otherwise only possible with liquid systems via complex and costly manufacturing processes or metals.

The core box parts were milled directly from RAKU^® TOOL WB-1258 using CAD data, which guarantees both a rapid production and high accuracy of the models. After minimal finishing, the air nozzles were inserted, followed by first trials.
