Vagabund X delta

delta4x4, the southern German specialist for off-road vehicles, and the Austrian designer duo Vagabund Moto have joined forces to take the Porsche 992 and the Hymer Grand Canyon S Sprinter to a new level.

With delta4x4’s extensive technical know-how and Vagabund’s creativity, a team has been formed that is willing to leave deadlocked paths in terms of design language and color schemes and to set new standards in the off-road scene.

The cooperation between the two companies shows trend-setting customization: The Porsche was raised by 80 mm from delta4x4 and equipped with robust off-road wheels to ensure excellent performance even on rough terrain. The Sprinter was also raised and equipped with All Terrain wheels and PIAA headlights to increase its off-road qualities.

But the real highlight of these two vehicles is undoubtedly the design. With its unique sense of aesthetics, Vagabund Moto has created a striking look that draws attention to itself: "We wanted to achieve a new level of performance and design," says a spokesman for delta4x4. "And I think we did it. Not only are these vehicles extremely capable, but they’re also incredibly cool to look at. We can’t wait to see our customers take them out into the great outdoors."

Paul Brauchart and Philipp Rabl, the two Vagabund managing directors, explain their design approach as follows: “When designing the two delta4x4 vehicles, we drew on one of our guiding principles: interpreting the status quo. Minus the bullsh*t. We have (in relation to our other projects) focused on the essentials with a few changes. The yellow headlights pull the focus where it should be; On the light mask developed by delta. The all black (glossy/matt) foiling draws the eye back to the shape of the vehicles and not to the lines of a graphic/multicolored foiling

Small, fine elements from our corporate (e.g. smiley) should make these very potent vehicles a little more likeable.”

The cooperation between delta4x4 and Vagabund Moto is a real example of what can happen when talent from different fields come together. This collaboration has resulted in a rebuild that pushes the boundaries of performance and design.

If you are looking for an off-road vehicle that is both functional and stylish, then the Porsche 992 converted by delta4x4 and Vagabund or the Mercedes Sprinter might be for you.
