Fairmas’ newest software generation’s global rollout for IHG Hotels and Resorts completed successfully

Fairmas GmbH has successfully completed the global rollout of its latest-generation web-based software for IHG Hotels and Resorts (IHG). Fairmas has been supporting IHG since 2005 with its innovative software solutions designed for the hospitality industry. Fairmas is a trusted BI hospitality software provider specializing in financial planning, controlling and management solutions supporting hotel businesses worldwide.

The software has been rolled out in 75 countries, including in more than 400 hotels in China.

The global rollout involved the implementation of FairPlanner, the easy-to customize solution to efficiently plan all P&L hotel revenues, costs, and profits; and the FairPayroll module to plan employee payroll expenses to optimize costs and savings as an all-in-one solution.

“Fairmas has always been a strong and committed partner for hotel planning for IHG over the years. The software company has evolved with the hospitality industry’s ever-changing needs and scaled up with IHG as it has grown and expanded its global presence.

“This has been a successful rollout – right from the start the Fairmas team was responsive to our needs and specifications for this project, always willing to find solutions, while managing the project efficiently and delivering to budget.”

Frank Merchiers, Vice President, Global Finance Business Intelligence & Information Delivery, IHG

“As a Global Project Owner for IHG, we implemented FairPlanner because it is an extremely efficient hotel planning solution for our managed and owned hotels. Furthermore, the data interfaces with other systems, the easy-to-use & flexible reporting and the integrated payroll planning are all very useful for us in managing large-scale hotel financial planning and reporting. With 3000+ users worldwide, not only from finance, but also other operational departments and general managers, we can now drive better engagement with other stakeholders for our hotels’ financial planning and budgeting – leading to higher visibility and planning accuracy.

“Fairmas has played a key role in making our Forecasting, Budgeting and Actual Reporting process more efficient. We are extremely happy with Fairmas’ services and look forward to achieving more success together.”

Rolf Arndt, Director, Global Hotel-Owner Forecasting & Budgeting Process, IHG
