Studies Prove Effectiveness of Penergetic Products

Biostimulant manufacturer Penergetic is pleased to announce recent studies have concluded that its products increase microbial activity, strengthen plant-root symbiosis, and stimulate root growth. As a result, farmers can save on fertilizer without sacrificing yield.

The studies were conducted at the University of Warsaw, and found that:

  1. Replacing 30-40%of the dose of mineral nitrogen by Penergetic growth activators alone and in combination with Azoter containing plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria allowed a higher yield of maize grain by 2.9% and 8.8%, respectively, compared to the full nitrogen dose.
  2. Use of the penergetic soil and plant products and the Azoter preparation containing the bacteria Azotobacter chroococcum, Azospirillum brasilense, and Bacillus megaterium made it possible to reduce the fertilization of sugar beet with mineral nitrogen by 30% without reducing the biological yield of sugar and pure sugar yield. This study was key in proving that high sugar yields can be obtained with more environmentally friendly technologies.
  3. Penergetic treatments resulted in a 13% higher grain yield in winter wheat despite reduced quantity of mineral nitrogen. "It was confirmed that these two combinations allowed the obtention of a higher yield of grain by 13%, compared to the full nitrogen dose. Simultaneously, the grain quality did not change significantly,” said Arkadiusz Artyszak and Dariusz Gozdowski – Institute of Agriculture, Warsaw University of Life Sciences—SGGW.

These studies prove that Penergetic offers solutions for intelligent agriculture. Penergetic’s soil and plant products stimulate soil life and the plants to make the soil more fertile and the plant more stress-resistant and to increase the nutrient uptake of plants. The biostimulants help activate soil life, leading to better soil structure, increased root growth, and better water infiltration.

Furthermore, stimulated Mycorrhizal symbiosis generated by penergetic helps the plant to get access to more nutrients and water as Mycorrhizal plants are able to explore a much larger volume of soil in search of water and nutrients.

“It was observed that plants in symbiosis with mycorrhizae showed greater tolerance to heat stress and that the use of penergetic in the crops enabled a significant increase in the mycorrhization percentage and it promote to be efficient to improve the conditions of maintenance and productivity of plants under stress conditions,” said Dr. Ricardo Bemfica Steffen, in his publication in the Journal of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
