Minister of State Martin Dulig and Member of the State Parliament Henning Homann visit Döbeln: Exciting insights into future-oriented battery technol

Blackstone Resources AG (SWX; symbol BLS, ISIN CH0460027110) is pleased to announce that today we welcomed Mr. Henning Homann, Member of the State Parliament, and Mr. Martin Dulig, Minister of State of Saxony, for a tour of our battery factory at the Blackstone Technology site (100% subsidiary of Blackstone Resources AG) in Döbeln, Saxony. Together with numerous representatives of the press, the two statesmen gained insights into the 3D production technology developed by Blackstone and took a personal look at our new production facility.

Minister Dulig was impressed and has confidence in the contribution Blackstone is making to Saxony as a business location: "Innovation is being created here," he said. "We are dependent on electromobility and thus also on innovative batteries such as those developed here: Sustainable, inexpensive and safe. That’s why we hope to see great value creation here in Saxony through Blackstone Technology."

During in-depth discussions, Blackstone was also able to present its strategies for recycling batteries and using recycled materials to produce new and sustainable battery cells. Synergies with potential industry partners in Saxony were also explored. "In an alliance with the major players in the industry, we would like to bundle our commitment and realize a sustainable and clean energy transition," explained Serhat Yilmaz, CMO of Blackstone Resources.

State parliament member Mr. Henning Homann was also impressed by the event. He sees Blackstone as having the potential to be a reliable and long-term employer. "Through innovation and through investment, the secure jobs of the future are created. Here at Blackstone, that’s what’s taking place and I’m glad that we can support that as the Free State of Saxony ," Mr. Homann said.

In open interview rounds, participating press representatives were able to ask the visitors and high-ranking representatives of Blackstone Technology individual questions and hold exclusive discussions in the afternoon, and the response was extremely positive. After a personal exchange of information CEO Holger Gritzka and Serhat Yilmaz thanked the guests for their interest and for this event.   

"We were very pleased to present our novel and environmentally friendly production process to Mr. Dulig and Mr. Homann," said Holger Gritzka in parting. "With the greatest energy efficiency and without toxic solvents, we use it to produce form-flexible batteries with particularly high energy density." This had also impressed the visitors, who listened to the explanation of the technology behind the production plant with great interest. With its clean and innovative production technology, Blackstone is making a sustainable contribution to the transport transition and in the fight against climate change.
