"We made this decision with a heavy heart. Physical participation in the SPS is not justifiable in view of the dramatic rise in the number of Corona infections, particularly in Bavaria and neighbouring states (Länder)," as Philip Harting, CEO of the HARTING Technology Group, explained today. The Robert Koch Institute, together with many medical experts, had advised against large-scale events, and the Bavarian state government had already declared a state of emergency last week.
"We very much regret the cancellation and hope to be able to return to the fair next year," says Philip Harting.
