For two months, the employees of Garlock GmbH ran, walked and biked for a good cause and collected their sports minutes and kilometers in the sports group of an app. With every minute of sport, the "Garlockers" contributed to a donation by Garlock GmbH for the benefit of Initiative Schmetterling Neuss e.V. and at the same time did something good for their own health.
At the beginning of August, the two Garlock managing directors Roger Hessels and Till Föste presented Mrs. Birgit Ritter, managing director of the Initiative Schmetterling e.V., with the Garlock donation on behalf of the entire workforce to support the social work of the association. Mrs. Ritter was extremely enthusiastic about the campaign: "I would like to thank you for the friendly reception, the personal meeting and the beautiful bouquet of flowers. Such appreciation for our work pleases and touches me very much!"
Initiative Schmetterling Neuss e.V. is an outpatient children’s and youth hospice service that supports families with children suffering from life-shortening illnesses, severe disabilities or who have died.
