Rhebo & telent Ensure Secure Digitalization in Critical Infrastructure And Industry 4.0

.

  • Partnership strengthens OT cybersecurity and availability for energy provider and manufacturing
  • Rhebo provides technology for holistic intrusion detection system
  • Cooperation enables comprehensive cybersecurity portfolio for complex infrastructure and digitalization projects

OT cybersecurity provider Rhebo and digitalization service provider and system integrator telent GmbH have agreed to cooperate closely in the area of OT cybersecurity. The partnership aims at the secure implementation of digitalization projects at energy providers, distribution system operators, transport companies and industrial enterprises. In the wake of the updated German IT Security Act on April 23, large companies and critical infrastructure (CRITIS) in particular will be required to establish a holistic intrusion detection system in their IT and OT.

»Digitalization and Industry 4.0 models are increasingly driving our customers to network systems in order to optimize interoperability, time and process efficiency. This increases the exposure and risk of attacks in the area of operational technologies (OT),« reasons René Odermann, Head of Sales [&] Business Development CyberSecurity at telent. »Rhebo’s solutions, especially with regard to the intrusion detection systems required by the IT Security Act, make it possible to provide a powerful platform that helps protect industrial business-critical assets and processes from cyber attacks, monitor availability, and ensure compliance with security standards and requirements at the same time.«

In the past, the digitalization service provider has already built up a team of experienced specialists with "KORAMIS – Cybersecurity by telent", which supports its customers with a holistic approach and comprehensive expertise. Rhebo’s OT monitoring and anomaly detection solution complements telent’s security services and enables the provider of customized technology solutions and smart services to offer a comprehensive cybersecurity portfolio that is specifically tailored to the needs and technologies of the market.

»We are delighted to have won telent as a sales partner,« confirms Rhebo CEO Klaus Mochalski. »As a system integrator and service provider with more than 50 years of experience in the areas of planning, implementation and operation of communication networks, telent offers the know-how and expert knowledge to implement OT cyber security in large infrastructures in a sensible and sound manner. This experience is of particular benefit to companies that now also have to deal with a holistic system for threat detection.«
