As a long-time partner of PRECO Electronics, MEKRA Lang and its sales subsidiary MEKRAtronics were acknowledged for their outstanding sales performance in 2020. Since the award could not be presented in person due to pandemic-related restrictions, a surprise package was sent instead.

PRECO and MEKRAtronics’ collaborative efforts led to the development of the AAS 1312 Side Defender turn assist system. The system placed first in a comparative study conducted by the German automobile association ADAC and has since been gaining in popularity among both drivers and companies.

Working tirelessly and ever ready to expand their knowledge in the interest of improving traffic safety, the entire MEKRAtronics team played a pivotal role in achieving excellent results in 2020. This success was deemed all the more remarkable, considering the extraordinary commitment it took to achieve it under the extremely challenging conditions imposed by the pandemic. Special recognition was given to the exemplary customer care and consultation provided by the team, including its outstanding post-sales and post-installation technical service and support.

The joint success was based on excellent cooperation, open coordination, as well as effective and cordial communication between the highly-skilled teams on both sides of the Atlantic. As a result, not only were camera monitor systems and radar systems brought into perfect alignment, but so too were the people who develop and distribute them.

All of the team members deeply appreciated the recognition their work had received and look forward to continuing their efforts to make working and traveling on roads safer and more efficient.
