Together with the management of our business operating areas, Detlef Sieverdingbeck, Head of Corporate Communications & Branding (CCB), is looking forward to dialoguing the event. The entire event is designed as a web seminar and a "live expert panel":

#1 Connectivity+:

"Connectivity+ is HARTING´s key focus: This is the term under which HARTING classifies electromobility, DC power supply in industry as well as the latest industrial communication trends such as Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) – creating powerful solutions in the field of connectivity by harnessing the most advanced, leading-edge technology. For example, HARTING is currently working on the next revolution in industrial power supply in the
DC-INDUSTRIE research project: Joining forces with 40 other industry partners, HARTING is deriving future requirements and developing the appropriate connectivity. This not only gives users the opportunity to save energy quantities and costs, but also makes a significant contribution to achieving energy targets.

In addition, HARTING is creating a powerful infrastructure for the digitalization of industry and are working on an end-to-end SPE eco-system – from the sensor to the cloud – as part of the SPE Industrial Partner Network.

#2 Solutions for energy infrastructure, e-mobility and rail:

In the energy infrastructure value chain, HARTING is, on the one hand, paving the way for reliable, clean and environmentally friendly e-mobility. Here, we are providing tailor-made solutions and components for all relevant sales areas.

Among other things, HARTING is developing and producing charging infrastructure solutions for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles. Furthermore, HARTING is addressing the latest requirements for the optimal use of decentralized energy storage systems – whether for mobile or stationary use.

Connectors in the field of railway technology have already represented practiced electromobility at HARTING for many years. Here, the aim is not only to ensure optimum data communication using the latest technologies, but also to make high currents and high voltages plug-and-play-capable with a minimum dead weight.
