At the general meeting of VDMA´s Photovoltaic Equipment sector group, on September 24, 2020, the board elections were held. A total of nine people was elected to the Board. In addition, a board meeting was carried out to elect the chairman and his deputy. Dr. Peter Fath, RCT Solutions GmbH, was confirmed as Chairman of the Board. Dr. Stefan Rinck, Singulus Technologies AG, was elected as Deputy Chairman. "We look forward to continuing the successful cooperation in the Board of the last years. Despite the increasing competition, we want to maintain and expand the leading international position of the German solar machinery industry. We are jointly pursuing the goal of resettlement of PV production in Germany and Europe with machines and technologies from German photovoltaic equipment manufacturers," says Dr. Peter Fath.
Dr. Stefan Rinck adds: "We will advance our goals by strongly representing the interests of PV equipment manufacturers vis-à-vis politicians in Germany and the EU and by intensifying joint research activities with universities and institutes".
