greentech and Tartessos join forces to offer PV O&M in Spain

Spanish PV project development company Tartessos Power Development (TPD) and German based O&M company greentech signed up a cooperation agreement with the aim of jointly developing the Spanish PV O&M market.

TPD is a successful PV project developer with a focus on the Spanish market. The management team combines more than 35 years of experience in the development, construction and operation of solar plants in Spain. TPD has a proven track record of more than 300 MW power plant developments in operation and a pipeline of approx. 3 GW under development.

greentech is a pure play PV independent service provider offering full scope technical O&M, asset management and engineering services. Being active in this field since more than 10 years, greentech has more than 200 sites and 600MW under management, mainly in central Europe and the UK.

Starting discussions about the Spanish PV market it became obvious, that both companies have the same enthusiasm about PV and quality mindset but also very complementary skills and experiences. While TPD has the in-depth understanding of the Spanish PV market and regulation as well as a local network of field service and service partners, greentech brings the proven team structure, systems and processes for O&M to the table.

Together, TPD and greentech will offer first in class O&M services for Spanish PV assets as of now. The setup is clearly defined and first negotiations with project developers, EPS’s and asset owners have started.

“We are excited to kick-start a new business segment with such an experienced partner”, says Rainer Kistner, Managing Director of TPD. “We can rely on the proven setup of greentech and offer our customers a one-stop show from project development to longterm operations of the assets”

“We have already performed engineering and owners engineering works in Spain, but for high quality O&M services you need the right boots on the ground. We are very happy to team up with Tartessos and benefit from their market knowledge and local network”, says Jörn Carstensen, Managing Director of greentech.
